How long have you worked for Daikin UK Ltd?
I joined Daikin distributor Cooling Services Ltd in 1999 in an internal sales support role. In 2003 I was offered the opportunity to take on a role as External Sales Engineer. In 2007 I became a Supervisor of a sales team and in 2010 became the Area Sales Manager and performed this role in various London sales teams.
Describe your current role
In 2014 I was promoted to Branch Manager a role I am looking forward to being successful in. I manage two sales teams supported by two local Area Sales Managers. I see my role as an opportunity to coach others and lead the teams to achieving targets in harmony with company vision and corporate values.
How has your role changed/ career evolved since here?
Through my various sales roles I have had excellent opportunity to gain experience, skills and knowledge supported by my colleagues, management and training allowing me to further my career with a leading company in the HVACR industry.
What do you enjoy most about working for Daikin?
Working for Daikin you feel a strong sense of pride in the product. I have also worked with some fantastic people and have made many friends throughout my time at Daikin.
