Kaizen is both a definition and a philosophy, literally translated it means
Kai = Change | Zen = Good |
Kai + Zen = Good change i.e. continuous improvement.
We need to think:
For Daikin UK, continuous improvement is a way of life, which is why we’ve called our Kaizen programme ‘Think’ – because that’s what we need to do at all times… We need to think:
- How and why we do things?
- Is there a better, smarter way of doing it?
- How can we reduce wasted time or resources?
- Are we giving our customers the best service we can?
