A range of Government grants for heat pump installations and finance options for energy efficiency improvements are now available, including the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive and Green Deal finance towards insulation upgrades.
The Green Deal has been launched by the Government, providing an opportunity for you to make energy efficiency improvements to your home, without having to pay all the upfront costs.
The domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme is a government financial incentive available to homeowners who switch to renewable energy heating systems.
The domestic RHI scheme is for home-owners and private and social landlords who want to install renewable heating systems in their homes in England, Wales and Scotland.
It will provide long term financial support for property owners who install renewable heating systems. Apply for the domestic RHI and you’ll receive quarterly payments for seven years for eligible heating systems which include:
- Air source heat pumps
- Solar thermal panels
- Ground source heat pumps
- Biomass boilers
