Function description
To achieve the sales targets set at the start of the sales year. To achieve the sales from a customer base issued at the start of the sales year. To take responsibility for all customer requirements including, equipment selection, pricing, pre sales support, linking with FQS department for commissioning - trouble shooting - warranty issues - spare parts etc, all account queries, marketing actions. To continue to increase knowledge of Daikin products to enable the engineer to maximise the opportunity of sales. To communicate via the company calendar (lotus notes) and report on activities of the engineer’s customer base at any time (as required by the Area Manager or Director). To attend and actively take part in sales meetings as required. To attend and actively take part in training courses as from time to time provided by the company. To represent the company in a professional manor at all times. To work with and in conjunction with the corporate philosophy. Responsibility to communicate and help solve disputes and account queries. Successful candidate will work from home. Manchester will be the reporting office.
Profile
Excellent communication skills [face to face and over the telephone]. Team player is essential. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team. Proven sales skills. Ability to prioritise own workload. Flexible and confident individual who will be able to work in a rapidly changing environment (growth market). Computer literate – Microsoft products.

General Details
Location: Manchester Status: Full time Contract: Permanent Education level: A good grading at GCSE level in core subjects: Maths and English. Department: Sales Experience: Previous experience of working within a technical sales role would be advantageous as the role will require the successful candidate to develop a sound technical understanding of the Daikin products. A familiarity of the air conditioning industry would also be advantageous.
