Function description
Key Responsibilities Include: •Liaison with Consultants with regards to all queries concerning air conditioning systems from the start of a project. •To achieve the sales targets set at the start of the sales year. •To achieve the sales from a customer base issued at the start of the sales year. •To continue to increase knowledge of Daikin products to enable the engineer to maximise the opportunity of sales. •To communicate via the company calendar (lotus notes) and report on activities of the engineer’s customer base at any time (as required by the Area Manager or Director). •To attend and actively take part in sales meetings as required. •To attend and actively take part in training courses as from time to time provided by the company. •To represent the company in a professional manor at all times. •To work with and in conjunction with the corporate philosophy. Areas covered will include Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge and Essex Successful candidate will work from home. Weybridge will be the reporting office.
Profile
Skills Profile: Excellent communication skills [face to face and over the telephone]. Team player is essential. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team. Proven sales skills. Ability to prioritise own workload. Flexible and confident individual who will be able to work in a rapidly changing environment (growth market). Computer literate – Microsoft products. There is a fundamental need for the job holder to travel within the United Kingdom for the fulfilment of this role therefore a valid UK driving licence is an essential requirement.

Location: Weybridge Status: Full time Contract: Permanent Education level: A good grading at GCSE level in core subjects: Maths and English. Department: Sales Experience: Technical knowledge of the workings of an air conditioning system would be essential for this role. Experience of working within the building and construction industry would be advantageous.
