RHI Tariff Payments
The domestic Renewable Heat Incentive offers quarterly payments over seven years, based on a set of tariffs according to the type of system installed, which help to offset the cost of installing renewable heating systems. The current tariff for all technologies is as follows:
|ASHP||GSHP||Biomass boilers||Solar thermal panels|
Tariffs will be subject to review every quarter by DECC. Note that only one technology can be installed for heating purposes (AWHP, GSHP or Biomass) plus solar thermal for hot water.
Tariffs will be paid up to ‘heat demand limits’ of 20,000kWh per annum for air source heat pumps and 30,000kWh for ground source heat pumps and 25,000kWh for biomass.
