Become a Daikin partner and benefit from our extensive partner network of professionals, so that together, we can deliver the best care.

Here are six good reasons to join forces with us:

1. A market leader by your side

By becoming a Daikin partner, you join the professional network of the world’s No. 1 air-conditioning company*) and can drive the transition to renewable heating and cooling solutions with a market leader at your side**. Since the launch of the Daikin Altherma series in 2006 for residential heating, we have installed over 1.3 million hydronic heat pumps in Europe alone and are rapidly gathering pace across the UK.

Founded in 1924, Daikin has evolved into a global leader in heating, cooling, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration innovations over the past century. Today, we operate in 175 countries worldwide, employing 98,000 professionals and expanding our network of partners. Together with HVAC-R professionals like you, we form a strong force in advancing the UK towards carbon neutrality.

2. Sustainable solutions

Our mission is to enhance our customers' quality of life, ensure year-round comfort, and secure reliable infrastructure for society with first-class climate systems. HVAC professionals, heat pump engineers, and service technicians are key partners alongside consultants, designers, or architects in achieving this. But that's not all we are aiming for. Aligned with our global Environmental Vision 2050, we are committed to make heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems carbon neutral with our core technologies based on 100 years of engineering excellence. This includes:

  • Heat pumps absorbing and moving heat from the air
  • Refrigerant control for efficient heat transport
  • Inverters contributing to greater energy savings and comfort.

To achieve carbon neutrality throughout the entire lifecycle of our products we strive for:

  • Lower electricity consumption through energy-efficient solutions for homes, small to large buildings, and applications
  • Promote a circular economy for refrigerants with initiatives like Loop by Daikin to avoid the production of over 400,000 kg of virgin gas annually
  • Support the decarbonization of buildings of any size with heat pumps.

Together with you, we can scale up these efforts. The UK government wants to see 600,000 heat pumps installed per year by 2028. By 2035, the government wants to see up to 1.6 million heat pumps being installed annually. It’s a huge business opportunity.

3. In-house development and manufacture

What makes Daikin unique in the HVAC-R industry is the fact that we are the only manufacturer to develop and produce units for direct and indirect temperature exchange, refrigerants and compressors in-house. Out of 53 Research & Development (R &D) Centers world-wide, we operate 12 R &D Centers in Europe, including the EMEA Development Centre in Belgium, which serves as a global R &D Centre for sustainable heating and cold chain solutions. We research all types of refrigerants in pursuit of innovations to lower the carbon footprint of heating, cooling and refrigeration world-wide. In 2024, Daikin was named one of the world’s top 100 most innovative companies by Clarivate (UK) and LexisNexis (USA), recognised for its leadership in technology research and intellectual property patents.

Based on our commitment to manufacture close to local markets, we operate 12 production bases in the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Turkey. An additional heat pump factory will open at the end of 2024 in Poland. This approach has the advantage of taking local market requirements into account and shortening delivery routes.

4. Value for money

Do you want to satisfy homeowners, owners of buildings, facility managers, or occupants with more than just the proper installation of an efficient heating, cooling and ventilation system and build a long-term customer relationship?

With Daikin, you can provide reliable climate systems while helping customers save energy and money. State-of-the-art remote monitoring tools optimise system functionality and control energy consumption during operation. This can lead to significant cost savings and extend the lifespan of Daikin systems. Combined with regular maintenance services, this approach also enhances sustainability. Our offerings include tools such as the “Onecta app” and the “Stand by me” platform for consumers, as well as “Daikin on Site” and “Daikin Cloud Service” for installers and service technicians.
