Grand Designs daily 2025 Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Summary

  • Offer valid on Friday 3rd October, Saturday 4th October and Sunday 5th October 2025
  • Offer only applies to Prize draw at Grand Designs, NEC Birmingham

  • All other models are excluded from this offer
  • Installation is not included in this promotion
  • Prize to be drawn on Friday 3rd October, Saturday 4th October and Sunday 5th October 2025 with one winner each day
  • All orders to be delivered by the end of December 2025 
  • Daikin Airconditioning UK Ltd reserves the right to withdraw / change the offer without notice

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. How to participate
    1. In order to enter this promotion, register your details with the Daikin team on Stand D20 (Contact details to be logged on the day by signing up to receive the newsletter at the Grand Designs Birmingham 2025. 
    2. All entries must include your name, email address, postal address (including postcode), and telephone number.
    3. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this promotion. The promoter will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
    4. You may only submit one entry to this promotion. Entries over the maximum number of entries will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.
  2. Start date
    1. This promotion will start at the beginning of the Grand Designs Show on Friday 2nd October 2025
  3. Closing date
    1. The promotion will end when the show closes on the Sunday 5th October 2025. Entries received by the promoter after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.
  4. Selection of the winner
    1. One winner will be selected for each prize draw.
    2. The winner of eachthe prize draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.
    3. The decision of the promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  5. Prize
    1. Details of the prize are given above in the “Summary”.
    2. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. The prize does not include any additional costs or expenses.
    3. The promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
    4.  The prize does not include installation.
  6. Restrictions and requirements
    1. Please note the following restrictions and requirements apply:
      • Entrants must be over 18 at the date of entry into the draw and be resident in the United Kingdom
      • Warranty is 1 year
      • Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.
  7. Notification of the results and receipt of the prize
    1. The promoter will notify the winners by email after the prize is drawn. 
    2. The promoter will attempt to contact the winners by email twice. If a selected winner does not respond to the notification within 14 days of the second email, the prize will be forfeited and the promoter will select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have 14 days to respond to the second email).
    3. The winners will receive their prize on or before the date shown in the “Summary” above.
  8. Publicity and personal information
    1. Please note that your personal information will be used to process your entry, to contact you about your entry, and for the purpose outlined in paragraph 8.2 below. Please see our privacy policy Data protection policy | Daikin for more details regarding how the promoter will use your personal information.
    2. The winners will be announced on the Daikin social media platforms within a couple of weeks of notification. 
    3. You may be asked to participate in publicity relating to this promotion if you are selected as a winner.
  9. General
    1. This promotion is operated by Daikin Airconditioning UK Limited whose registered office is at The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0NY.
    2. Entrants acknowledge that copyright in submissions will be owned by the promoter. Entrants agree to assign to the promoter (by way of a written document, separate to these terms and conditions) all intellectual property rights in the submission with full title guarantee and to waive their moral rights in the submission.
    3. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or exclude the promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the promotion or which are caused by a third party.
    4. The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.
    5. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
