Influenza type A virus with strong symptoms and infectivity
There are three types of the influenza virus: type A, type B, and type C. Among them, type A has particularly strong symptoms such as high fever. It is called a threatening influenza virus because it is extremely infectious and spreads quickly.
* The results are obtained from demonstration of solely the Daikin Streamer discharge device in an experimental condition.
- Influenza virus type A - H1N1
- Influenza virus type A - H3N2
- Respiratory syncytium virus - RS virus
Demonstration of the suppression effect against influenza virus (type A, H1N1)
Testing organization
Kitasato Research Center for Environmental Science
Test method
By irradiating the influenza virus with Streamer and inoculating the cultured cells, we observed the residual state of the virus by the difference in the Streamer irradiation time.

As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that 99.9% of influenza virus (type A, H1N1) was decomposed within 1 hour of Streamer irradiation.

Demonstration of the suppression effect against influenza virus (type A, H3N2)

As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that 99.0% of influenza virus (type A, H3N2) was decomposed within 4 hours of Streamer irradiation.

Demonstration of the suppression effect against respiratory syncytium virus (RS virus)
Testing organization
Wakayama Medical University
Test method
By irradiating the RS virus with the Streamer and inoculating the cultured cells, we observed the residual state of the virus over the Streamer irradiation time.

As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that 99.0% of RS virus was decomposed within 8 hours of Streamer irradiation.
* The results are obtained from demonstration of solely the Daikin Streamer discharge device in an experimental condition.
