I am unable to add units to my user account. I get the pop-up “Unable to add unit to your account”. What now?

Check that the date set on the unit’s user interface is correct. If the date is not correct, the network gateway will not be able to set up a secure connection with the cloud and the registration will fail.

To check the date of the unit, go to the unit’s settings screen in the app.

  • Select the right unit in the unit overview screen
  • Select the “gear icon” in the top right corner


  • You can only set the date with the unit’s user interface


  • You can set the date with the Daikin Residential Controller app. In the app, select "Date and time", set the right date and time, and confirm to push this date and time to the boiler unit's room thermostat.
