Designed to meet the needs of both residential and light commercial users, the MC30YB offers a cost-effective, low maintenance solution that creates a healthier indoor environment. Compact yet powerful, the MC30YB effectively and quietly reduces bacteria, viruses and other airborne contaminants, providing pure, healthy air to safeguard the health of household members, customers and employees.
Built-in performance and reliability for peace of mind
Housing advanced technology in a neat white space-saving tower cabinet, the MC30YB starts working immediately to deliver cleaner air. Airflow rates of 180 cubic metres per hour provide coverage of large surfaces up to 46 square metres (calculated according to NRCC 54013).
The combination of small dimensions (450 x 270 x 270 mm) and high output, together with its attractively low price and exceptionally long filter lifetime (10 years) make this latest air purifier ideal for use across a diverse range of locations from homes, retail outlets, banks and horeca applications to commercial offices, meeting rooms and healthcare settings.
One of the quietest units on the European market, with a dB(A) of 19 in quiet mode, the MC30YB is unobtrusive, working quietly in the background to maintain and improve air quality. An inbuilt SLEEP mode ensures a peaceful rest at night for householders.
Catch and clean
In common with other models in the Daikin air purifier collection, the MC30YB is equipped with an Electrostatic (HEPA) filter and Flash Streamer technology to ensure the cleanest air possible.
This unique approach captures and removes pollutants and allergens in 3 easy steps, offering clear benefits and demonstrable results.
Stage 1: Attraction - The MC30YB draws in air from a wide area in three directions to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Stage 2: Capture – the high-performance electrostatic HEPA filter traps up to 99% of particles between 0.1 µm and 2.5 µm. The electrostatic component collects dust more efficiently without clogging and with no pressure loss.
Stage 3: Decomposition – Daikin’s unique Streamer technology uses plasma discharge to eliminate harmful and dangerous substances caught on the filter through oxidation.
An integral deodorising filter absorbs and removes odour, while an inlet at the bottom of the front panel collects harmful substances at floor level. There is no need to replace the deodorisng filter during the unit’s lifetime and the electrostatic filter lasts for up to ten years, making the MC30YB an attractive lifecycle option.
