Leading renewables and heating manufacturer, Daikin UK has strengthened its heating team with the appointment of a new product specialist, Neil Young. Reinforcing its commitment to the renewable heating sector, Neil joins the growing team with more than 15 years industry experience.
Responsible for managing the existing and expanding product portfolio for domestic heating and renewables within Daikin UK, Neil will be communicating the benefits of the Daikin Altherma range of air source heat pumps to both customers and the wider industry.
Joining the team alongside existing product specialist Joe Heng Tse and product manager Richard Paine, Neil will become part of the established and expert team.
The team ensures compliance with evolving legislation, such as the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), and is actively involved within industry bodies and trade associations, highlighting the low carbon efficiencies of heat pump technology.
With more than 15 years’ experience within the heating industry, Neil joins Daikin UK from Uponor Limited, where he was UK Application Manager, responsible for business and product offerings throughout the UK and Ireland. Before developing his career within the heating industry, Neil was an engineer within the power generation sector.
