Detailed design analysis 

Our team thoroughly reviews design requests, analysing ASHP placement, controls, radiator locations, and coordination of heating and hot water services. By mapping these elements and their routing, we facilitate open discussions with key stakeholders before construction or installation begins. 

Collaborative planning 

We begin with pre-project discussions with architects, continuing as the developer’s design team adapts house types to suit local developments. Daikin supports this process with advanced modelling using REVIT or CAD, ensuring seamless integration and efficient design coordination.

Comprehensive support 

The New Build Design Support Team offers cradle-to-grave assistance, guiding developers from architectural design to pre-commissioning. We address key construction requirements such as heating and hot water solutions, emitter placement, and integrated technologies to improve heat recovery and energy performance. This proactive approach minimises on-site revisions and ensures seamless plumbing and heating coordination. 

Tailored design packs

Each design pack is customised to the house type, containing layouts for ASHP installation, cylinder placement, and control systems. These documents cover mechanical, electrical, and pre-commissioning data to streamline the installation process and reduce errors on site. 

6-week handover visit 

The 6-week handover visit supports developers and homeowners transitioning from traditional heating systems to ASHP technology. Our team conducts a thorough system check, confirming everything is functioning correctly. We also guide homeowners through the controls, helping them understand how to operate the system efficiently. For developers, this visit occurs before the 8-week customer service check.
