The latest technology to counter airborne allergens is significantly improving the quality of life for a Berkshire family for whom allergies are a daily concern.
From the outside, the Brookes family’s Bracknell home, where they’ve lived for about 20 years, is a typical 1970s, mid-terrace, three-bedroom, suburban house. But inside, it uses the latest Daikin technology to maintain a 21st-century allergy-beating environment.
The house is home to Juliet, her partner Jason and their daughter Mia, who is 12. Both Jason and Mia are prone to quite serious allergic reactions from certain foodstuffs to dust and pollen.
Juliet says: “ When Mia gets a reaction it can last all day, causing extreme exhaustion which had started to interrupt her studies.
