The UP package is a smart service that connects your Daikin heat pump to advanced energy-saving features. It enables automated control, solar optimisation and detailed energy insights through the Onecta app.

It activates the intelligent control and optimisation features that make up the Daikin UP Series. Without it, you won’t have access to the energy-saving functions.

A 5-year subscription is included with your Smart Sensor. After that, you can renew to keep all features, or continue with basic functions like energy monitoring and PV optimisation.

Yes. Your Daikin Altherma will continue to run normally and can still be controlled via Onecta or your Madoka thermostat.

Yes. In Onecta, go to Monitor → Settings → Budget Control or Solar PV Optimisation to switch them on or off at any time , or to change the settings for each feature.

Yes. You’ll still see your home’s full energy insights in Onecta even if control features are disabled.

Your privacy is fully protected. Read our policy here

Yes. You can delete your account any time through Stand By Me.

Ask your Service Partner or Daikin representative to unlink your installation and transfer ownership to the new resident.

Getting started with the Daikin UP Series

Step 1 – Register your heat pump

When your installer registers your Daikin Altherma, you’ll receive an email from Stand By Me with your commissioning code. Follow the link to create your account. Your UP package will be automatically activated.

If you didn’t receive the email, visit standbyme.daikin.co.uk and click ‘Register your Daikin product’.

Stand By Me
